Roman Reigns returned from sabbatical at SummerSlam 2020 as a heel, and the Bloodline was born. He united the WWE and Universal titles and held them for over 1,300 days — one of the longest reigns in WWE history.

After Roman Reigns lost the titles to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa expelled the original Bloodline members and took control. Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Paul Heyman were all caught in the fallout.
